Does Atv Riding Have To Be Expensive?

Does ATV riding have to be expensive?

Okay youve seen people riding on them youve heard exciting stories about the trails parks and off road adventures and you want to be part of the fun but you think that taking up the ATV sport is just too expensive for you. If you have been holding back because you have been made to believe that ATVs are just for the rich think again. Picking up ATV as a recreational sport does not have to burn a hole through your pockets. You just got to learn the tricks and tips of enjoying the fun of ATVing without having to leave a burning smell on your wallet.

Here are some great ideas that we Jackel Motorsports would like to share with you on some great tips to have fun ATVing without having to pay too much for it.

1. Rent first buy later
If you are just a beginner in ATV sports we recommend that you first rent the ATV that you are considering to buy before you put in your hard earned cash into getting your own machine. With renting you get to try out different types of models until you find the perfect one for yourself. Dont let your emotions get the better of you when it comes time to purchase your very own ATV do some homework and scout around for the best deal.

2.Give it a haul
Remember if you get your own ATV you must also think of a way to haul it. If you own a pickup truck or a van you are good to go. Most pickup trucks or vans make good ways of transporting ATVs. Even if you dont any of these vehicles dont panic you can always rent a trailer with a built in ramp to transport your ATV.

3.The right tools
Sure ATV tools can be quite costly but if you plan to do routine maintenance on your machine it is not necessary for you to go all out to buy the most expensive tools for your ATV. Most ATVs come with a small tool kit that is decent enough for the basic maintenance of your ATV. While you save some more money to get the specialized tools for your ATV using the ATV tool kit provided by the dealer would be just fine.

4. ATV attire
When buying the ATV gears for your riding you must consider first the type of riding that you will be doing. The very basic ATV attire includes a helmet goggles gloves and boots and believe it or not you could actually get all these items for under 250! Yes its true some ATV riders especially racers or aggressive riders would opt for top of the line ATV attire but that is only because they are meant for racers or very aggressive riders! If you are taking up the ATV sport as a hobby or just for recreational fun you dont have to spend unnecessarily just as long as you are properly dressed and you know you will be protected during unforeseen circumstances.

The above are just some suggestions on how you can save and yet be able to have fun ATVing. Daytona Bike Week Blast!

What a blast! What a great trip! I cant believe that its over so soon. This had to be the best one yet. Daytona Bike Week. In all its glory! This is Bob from Ohio reporting back to all my homeboys about the great time we had there last week in beautiful sunny central Florida. We did all the usual things like the mandatory cruises down Main Street the rides to the Iron Horse and the Broken Spoke Saloon. But this year we went on a pilgrimage to the new Motorcycle Mecca none other than Bruce Rossmeyers Destination Daytona . That was awe inspiring. Thousand of new and used Harleys and custom bikes all in a gleaming new chrome and brick building all there for the viewing and the taking but of course at a very hefty price tag as usual for Harley dealerships. .

Which brings us to the issue in question. Money. Or the lack of it. We spent tons of time looking for the best deals on parts and accessories at all of the usual suspect places. The process of fixing up the ride with that special something to make it ultra cool and unique is never ending. There are so many places that claim to be the best in terms of prices on parts that are usually a great big disappointment. And a great waste of time and energy in addition to the waste of gas in getting there and finding that they do not live up to their claims by any means.

We have come to a conclusion based upon many days of searching and seeking out those best deals on those special parts. They are most likely to be found on .. the Internet.

After a full and complete exploration of discovery full of failure and disappointment there is no longer any doubt there is no place that can compare to the Internet for unqualified bargains and completeness of immediate availability. The Internet holds bargains that can never be duplicated by any individual dealer or group of suppliers and parts providers in any locality even one dedicated to bikers such as Daytona Bike Week. No comparison. Not even close. The Internet beats them all hands down. Internet Rules by far.

Cycling Socks That Allow A Higher Level Of Ventilation

Professional bikers have their shoes on for incredibly long time periods and without proper protection their feet will be all irritated and the skin infected. The soles of our feet are the body parts that sweat most toxins and lots of salts and chemicals are released during intense physical effort so that shoes become a very uncomfortable and unhealthy environment after prolonged outdoor activities. This is why cycling socks manufacturers have come up with technological innovations that deal with the problem of air flowing sweat evaporation and antibacterial conditions all features reunited in the special quality of the fabric.

Some people may smile with distrust thinking: Well it’s just a sock right? However sports apparel items cycling socks here included guarantee a higher level of ventilation preventing the moisture accumulation in the material and the permanent air exchange with the exterior. The feet remain dry and warm all day long and there are no unwanted surprises like hot spots blisters rashes or fungal infections to be afraid of. Cycling socks also include special design items such as midfoot support bands that make sure there is not too much pressure on the tissue; thus they fit snug but without being too tight.

If you don’t have some special cycling socks you can try some thin wool socks that do not restrict blood circulation and which also ensure a quality insulation even when they’re wet. However the best recommendation still goes for a type of cycling socks that meet all the requirements for comfortable riding. One clear example of such ultra modern clothing items will show you the level at which science has got in this domain: we are talking about cycling socks with separated toes. They make use of a very thin antifriction membrane that allows the skin to breathe without hindering movements or blood flow in the area.

With such anatomical cycling socks there is little skin on skin contact and blister formation is prevented all the way not to mention that under such circumstances there are very low chances of developing any form of skin rash or fungal infection between the toes. Since pedaling puts a lot of pressure on the feet and the apparel items specific to these body parts cycling socks manufacturers use all sorts of reinforcements to ensure durability and reduce foot fatigue. There are almost no seams at all a feature which ensures a high level of comfort and positive blood circulation in the area.
